Time for a Quick Lose!

Stop right now. Think. Where are you with that prospect?

No, not: “Where do you think you are?”, – but “Where are you *really*?”

Every sales opportunity falls into one of four categories:
 🔹 Quick Win
 🔹 Slow Win
 🔹 Quick Lose
 🔹 Slow Lose

Everyone wants the Quick Win. And by the way, lottery wins are pretty cool too.

Back to reality.

The big trap is the Slow Lose. Those endless calls, visits, and “great conversations” that go nowhere.
>> Maybe they’re just being polite.
>> Maybe they’re feeding your insights to a competitor.
>> Maybe the decision’s already made, and you’re just there as a stooge, so they can tick a procurement box.

So here’s the Euromillions-Jackpot question:

*What’s Second-Best: a Slow Win, or a Quick Lose?*

For me, it’s Quick Lose every time. The sooner you realise it’s not happening, the faster you can step back, stay polite, and refocus on real opportunities: those Slow Wins that can become tomorrow’s success stories.

Encourage your team to think and talk in these four categories. It sharpens focus, saves time, and builds conviction in your strategy.

Sounds good?

Don’t just imagine the best-trained sales team in your market: Give me a call, and we’ll get you there in two days.
